Indemnity Statement
In signing this document, the Signatory indemnifies Council against any expense (including legal costs), claim, loss, damage, liability or injury suffered by Council arising out of or in connection with the sign as approved under this document (the sign).
The Signatory will be liable for any damage to Council assets and land caused by the installation and/or removal of the sign.
Any damage to Council’s assets and infrastructure caused by the installation and/or removal of the sign, or because of the occupation of the sign, is the responsibility of the Signatory. The Signatory must reimburse Council with any cost that Council may incur if it is required to return any damaged, modified or removed assets or infrastructure to their condition prior to the installation of the sign. Alternatively, to the satisfaction of, and at no cost to Council, the Signatory shall be responsible for reinstating any Council assets or infrastructure that is damaged, modified or removed.
